I don't get it...

Palin's joining Arizona gov in defending the immigration bill...but her own tea party movement advocates for less government control...big government, they don't want, they say...they want small government.

So they only want the government to step in on certain issues, but not on others? And who decides on which issues?

Hot weather

We've moved to warmer weather. The lines of boredom are further blurred. Although it is sunnier here, and we can do more outdoor activities, it's often too hot to be outside.

in humid climates, ants like to get into rice.

ants got into our rice today.

so i sat on the floor, poured out the rice onto a tray, and killed them one by one.

Baking Soda

I love using baking soda to wash dishes and grease off countertops. So affordable, environmentally friendly, and works.

I cleaned the kitchen today. With baking soda. It was wonderful.
